What if I claim to be stumbled by the lack of facial hair on the brothers? Or the lack of wearing of kilts? Wouldn't it be amusing to show up at the local hall in the rural midwest in full Scottish dress, complete with the little purse and no underpants?

LOL indeed, WIDK! I swear I am more of a teenage boy even now as a 41 year old female than most actual teenage boys.

Why Facebook is The Watchtowers Biggest Enemy
by LostGeneration ini just read through the zuckerberg letter to potential investors about the upcoming ipo.
whether you love or hate fb, its interesting to consider how much of a problem it is for the wt.
here are a couple of paragraphs from the letter that i really liked: full letter is here.

I think the internet in general is a huge problem for the WTBTS. Facebook is just a minor part of that - I don't use Facebook so maybe I"m unaware of its power though. Years ago, a person would have to really search out "apostate" material - it didn't just drop into your lap at the touch of a button. Older WT publications were not easily searchable, you would have to know about Ray Franz to even know to look for his book. Now, even the most devoted JW has full access to all this information, and it's really easy to stumble across it in the privacy of your own home.

Chicken little was fried
by wasblind innot long ago there was a li'l chicken who spent the best part of his life.
spreadin' lies for the wts, claimin' that the sky would fall in their lifetime.
as the deep fryers were prepped at the 2010 dc, chicken little was informed.

I remember that from a few years back. Just Ron took it to heart, so we now have 10 gallons of water in storage just in case. We always have enough food on hand to feed us for probably a month.

I used to daydream about sex, or winning the lottery, but I generally just dozed off. There is no way to stay awake through 3 days worth of mind numbing endless talks.

Thoughts and Opinions on the VAA?
by arko_n9ne inas i've posted multiple times before, i am new to many of the aspects of wts scandals so a couple weeks ago, i was on youtube and heard of a group concept from tim kilgore called the vaa (vast apostate army).. personally, i like the concept of former witnesses and anti-watchtower proponents uniting to stand against the wrong doings of the organization.
i would like their rally in a few years to succeed.
if things look promising enough, i more than likely will go.. but honestly, i don't know much about the vaa, and since it's not a concept with that "new car smell" i imagine people have more infor to offer.. i saw on older posts that witnesses are not fans of the idea of anyone banding together en masse against them, as they go to the lengths of calling the vaa a terrorist organization (though no acts of violence or tyranny have been committed or threatened).. so if anyone can offer insight into this group, it would help a man know if it's a group worth rallying with.. .
